Founded in 2018 by Aylin and Tobias Freund, the brand creates collections that combine timeless aesthetics with distinctive details. Designed in Hamburg and crafted with experienced production partners across Europe, each piece is made to be effortlessly wearable and to transcend seasons. Transparency is at the core of what we do. That's why we openly share information about our production and the materials we use.

Behind by Aylin Koenig is a small, dedicated team that brings our vision to life through diverse perspectives and a shared passion for thoughtful design.
From Design and Product Development to Marketing, E-Commerce, Wholesale and Business Development, we work closely together to build a brand defined by quality, longevity and a refined aesthetic.

by Aylin Koenig is available online and at selected locations. For over five years, our store on Alter Wall in Hamburg was more than just a place. A space that grew with us, shaped our journey, and became a reflection of who we are. Now, a new chapter begins with our new store at Eppendorfer Baum 26, Hamburg. A new space, a new feeling, yet the same spirit at heart. Inspired by the apartment style, we have created a place that feels less like a store and more like a home.
Beyond our own store, we regularly host pop-ups in different cities and are available through selected wholesale partners. You can find an overview of all locations in our Store Finder.
