Silk
The production begins with the careful harvesting of fresh mulberry leaves, which serve as food for the silkworms. After several molts, the silkworms reach maturity and are placed on special cocoon frames, where they spin silk layer by layer to form a cocoon.
To extract the silk, the cocoons are dried or briefly boiled, killing the pupae while keeping the delicate fibers intact. The silk threads are then mechanically unwound from the cocoons, with several fine fibers combined and twisted to form a stronger raw silk thread.
The raw silk is refined through processes such as degumming and bleaching, and then woven on looms into luxurious silk fabrics. Finally, the silk undergoes dyeing, printing, shaping, and other finishing processes, resulting in high-quality silk products that embody luxury, comfort, and natural beauty.
Our premium mulberry silk stands out for its exceptional fineness and durability. Carefully crafted, it is breathable, temperature-regulating, and wonderfully gentle on the skin – even for sensitive skin types.
